David Cagle, Senior Pastor Candidate

David Cagle has been announced as the candidate our Pastor Search Team and Elders have submitted to the congregation as our next Senior Pastor. He will be joining us in person on Sunday, August 30th to preach, and there will be a Q&A with him that evening at 5 pm for the whole congregation.

In order to honor the congregation David currently serves, we ask that you not post comments on the videos or connect with him on social media until after we have voted on him. This will allow them to hear significant news about his calling directly from him.

Voting will commence the morning of the 30th and conclude at 8 pm that evening.

We will provide a link to cast your ballot online, but paper ballots will also be available.

David has over 20 years of vocational gospel ministry experience in the local church. A portion of his ministry career was an almost 7 year period as the Student Pastor with our sending church—Double Oak Community Church. He presently serves as the Campus Pastor for Downtown Church in Mobile, AL where he has faithfully served for the past 5 years.

David’s wife, Allison, is his partner in life and ministry, and they have three children—Sam (15), Hallie (13), and Abigail (9). They have a strong desire to be actively engaged in the life of the church as they walk in community with and serve alongside their church family.
