"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.."(Matthew 28:10-20a)
Members of our faith family came together to serve and minister alongside some of our local mission partners, as well as serve our local community. Teams were sent to Chelsea Park Elementary School to assist with landscaping, to local fire stations to pray and minister to local firefighters, to Alabama Childhood Food Solutions to help distribute food to families who are food insecure, to Blanket Fort Hope to help with cleaning and landscaping and to Children’s Village Birmingham to minister and serve the residents and staff.
Songs in the Night exists to minister to women who are experiencing the journey of widowhood. No widow should process the pain of unexpected loss alone. Songs in the Night provides support through faithful community, via Hope Groups, retreats and discipleship. The heart of Songs in the Night is to see, support and strengthen widows while also resourcing the local church to do the same within their communities.
